Applicable Law

The processing of personal data collected through this website is governed by Law No. 171 of 21 December 2018 "Protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data" of the Republic of San Marino and subsequent amendments, in force since 5 January 2019, whose provisions are aligned with the principles of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Insofar as the site collects data from users residing in the European Union — given that our products and services are also offered to the Italian market — processing is also carried out in accordance with GDPR principles.

Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing

Personal data collected through this website is processed for the following purposes:

• responding to information requests sent via the contact form, on the basis of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject;
• handling open or unsolicited job applications sent via the "Careers" section, on the basis of pre-contractual measures aimed at a possible employment relationship;
• aggregated statistical analysis of website usage, through Google Analytics, on the basis of consent given via the cookie banner;
• displaying the company office map through Google Maps, on the basis of consent;
• managing direct contact through the WhatsApp chat integrated in the site, on the basis of consent and at the data subject's request.

Categories of Data Processed

Browsing data

The IT systems used to run this website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited), used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and to verify its correct functioning.

Data voluntarily provided by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages via the contact form or by email to the addresses indicated on this site results in the acquisition of the sender's contact details (name, email address) and any other personal data included in the message, necessary to reply to the request.

Job application data

CVs and personal information sent to the email addresses indicated in the "Careers" section are processed solely for the purpose of evaluating the application and retained for the time necessary for that purpose.

Cookies and Third-Party Services

This site uses technical cookies necessary for its operation and, subject to the user's consent given via the cookie banner, the following third-party services which may set their own cookies or process browsing data:

• Google Analytics (Google LLC), for aggregated statistical analysis of site visits;

Data Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, and in any case no longer than required by applicable law. In particular, data relating to contact requests is retained for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact, unless otherwise required by law.

Optional Nature of Providing Data

Apart from what is specified for browsing data, users are free to provide the personal data requested in the forms on this site. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain what was requested (e.g. a reply to an information request or the evaluation of a job application).

Section Reserved for Minors

No person under the age of 18, without the prior consent of their parents or legal guardians, should submit personal data to this site.

Processing Methods and Security Measures

Personal data is processed using automated and manual tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific technical and organizational security measures are adopted to prevent data loss, unlawful or improper use, and unauthorized access.

Rights of the Data Subject

Under Law No. 171 of 21 December 2018, data subjects have the right to request from Sacs S.p.A. at any time:

• access to their personal data and confirmation of its existence (Art. 15);
• rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data (Art. 16);
• erasure of data, when no longer necessary or unlawfully processed — "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17);
• restriction of processing, in the cases provided by law (Art. 18);
• data portability, where applicable (Art. 20);
• objection to processing, on legitimate grounds (Art. 21).
